Virtual Networking

We’ve become accustomed to connecting, networking and socializing online. Even after we return to “normal,” I believe virtual networking is here to stay. Before we all discovered Zoom and other online platforms, we often limited our networking to those in our town or to those we met in conferences or seminars. This pandemic showed us we can connect with anyone around the world, expanding the opportunities to meet and network. Make the point to virtually network once a week with contacts you typically can’t meet or see. I make a point every Friday morning to virtually meet someone via Zoom in lieu of my coffee chats that are in abeyance due to COVID-19. Take the time to meet others virtually and keep doing so even after we’re back to the way things were.
