There are so many more research tools today than there was when I graduated law school in 1997, 23 years ago. We still used books then. Firms still had libraries. Online research was in its infancy. Today, not only is there Westlaw, but there is Westlaw on steroids, and Lexis, and a dozen other research platforms. Google, which is totally free, often gets you the answer you’re looking for. Odds are that no matter what you’re researching, the answer is likely out there and at your finger tips.
